Cleveland International Film Festival

Monday, March 26th, 2007

It appears that while Makki has not been keeping up with her reviews, she has become the more popular reviewer at the site. I know, that just makes sense because she is nice and I am not but still. She came up with some passes for the Cleveland International Film Festival. Let me say, these were some really nice passes. We got free valet parking even though I won’t give my car to a stranger. Instead we got free parking. We not only had access to any films we wanted to watch, we got priority seating. We just walked in and sat where we wanted before anyone else.

I have decided that I need a pass like that for general life. Just imagine being able to get checked out at the grocery store before anyone else instead of waiting behind the old lady with coins and coupons. Even better, I want a pass like that for my drive into work every day. It would be like having your own express lane on the freeway.

Ok, back on topic now.

I had been to the film festival once before and it was a horrible experience because it is so crowded. This was great. We loved both of the films we saw and sadly were unable to see more than those two do to scheduling. We will be trying to see how many of the films we can get on DVD to make up for not seeing too many of them. Fortunately we have a nice book with all the films and basic descriptions.

Go ahead check out the first of the film festival reviews, A Curiosity of Chance.
